This section contains information and updates to the project RHOMEO (ProteoRHOdopsin-containing prokaryotes in Marine EnvirOnments) The project is funded by the French Agence Nationale de la Recherche, specifically by the SVES7 committee on Biodiversity Evolution Ecology and Agronomy. RHOMEO is a collaboration between to the Joint Research and Service Unit USR 3579 LBBM at the Observatoire Océanologique de Banyuls sur Mer and the Joint Research and Service Unit UMR 7144 AD2M at the Station Biologique de Roscoff. Both research units are jointly supported by the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) and the Université Pierre et Marie Curie – Paris VI (UPMC), part of Sorbonne Universities
