ABSTRACT. – This study reports for the first time the presence of two amphipod species Leucothoe incisa (Robertson, 1892) and Lysianassa pilicornis (Heller, 1866) in the Gulf of Gabes, southeast Tunisia. Systematic descriptions of both species are presented, as well as a discussion of their ecological and geographical distribution.
